Why couldn't the whole season have been like this? Obviously, I have enjoyed episodes this season, with some I thought were great. However, no episode of Resistance has had the level of mood and tone than this episode, which was awesome. The final ten minutes of the episode feels like a gritty, old-school Star Wars sequence, with high stakes, and a compelling and effective cliffhanger.

The episode follows Kaz, CB-23, Synara, and Yeager traveling to a distant planet to rescue a Resistance spy from a bounty hunter. From there, the rest of the story sees the four eventually finding the spy, Norath, who has a nice charm and innocence to him, despite him being a spy, and then on the run from the bounty hunter named Ax Tagrin.
He is easily the best part of the episode to me. He is actually intimidating and presents a real threat and danger to the characters, which is great to see. He also has a great and intimidating voice provided by Joe Manganiello. The later half of the episode is essentially a big action scene with fun chase sequences and a really great fist fight between Ax, Yeager, and Synara, with great lighting, music, and mood.
The episode even ends with an effective cliffhanger, with CB-23 fried out of power, with Kaz and Norath on run, while Synara and Yeager hold off Ax, while at the same time, the First Order arrives led by Commander Pyre.
In the end, this is the kind of action and tenseness I wanted from the whole season. Again, there are episodes from this season that I thought were great, but if every episode had been like this episode, and not, Kaz with a curse, than this season could have been a lot better than it is so far.
