Victor Returns
Hey. This is Victor Santiago, founder, former, and current webmaster of The Modern Gafa. You may remember me from that time I used to run this website up until about eight months ago. Well I am back now and as far as I am concerned those eight months are non canon. Let's just forget I ever left, celebrate that I'm back, and move on.
I left this site for reasons I don't remember or particularly understand. I left it in the hands of someone who was unprepared, ill equip, and focusing on the Bar Exam. Oh, by the way congrats on passing, Josh. Anyway, I guess I thought leaving the site would make me happy or whatever. Josh actually thought I was going to come back a lot sooner. In recent months I've grown to miss the site and kinda wanted to come back, but I've spent these past eight months building a life that may or many not be able to hold the weight of running this site.
I've still kept up The Digimon Rewatch, but also founded the Digimon World Tour, an organization aiming (and so far succeeding) and bringing a Digimon convention to the west. I started collecting and replaying my childhood favorite PS2 games. I wrote a short story and have so far made $0.70 off of it.
And in these past eight months, to my honest surprise, The Modern Gafa kept going. Even though Josh was busy with lawyer things, reviews were getting written and articles were getting posted. When I came back under the radar last month, there wasn't much damage to repair. But still, some things are going to change.
When I came back I took one look at the Gafa Modcast and pulled the plug. I also decided that news just wasn't our thing. The Saturday Morning Updates were not being read and it's hard for the team to produce articles on breaking news without regurgitating what everyone has already read from the other hundred news sites.
But on the upside, we're going to develop some new podcasts, we already got Geekness Overlord hitting us with some videos, and I have a buttload of other plans for this site so look out. Cus I'm back, and it's about to get wild.
